Description
Warlords of the Steppes is a competitive, easy to learn and roll to slay game. You play as a legendary warlord with unique powers who wishes to be the next Great Khan. You draw recruits from the deck, train your warriors as dice and slay monsters with rolls.
The game is set in a steppe landscape, enriched with mythological elements. Players aim to increase their fame and glory, and secure the people’s support to etch their names in history in golden letters. The steppe is a perilous land, constantly under siege by mythological foes. Warlords send warriors recruited from the youth to face these enemies, earning glory for each defeated foe. However, some enemies are ancient nemesis of the people, and any Warlord who allows them to breathe must bear the burden of shame.
When all threats are eradicated and the legendary creatures of prophecy called omens have emerged, the time comes to crown the next Great Khan.
The game features heroes, creatures, gods, spells, and warlords inspired by real-world steppe mythology and legends.
